Biography

     Hammadi ben saad is a Tunisian plastic artist who was born in 1948. He is recognized as a Poetic Universe – Contemporary Experiences artist by the Ministry of Culture of Tunisia.
 
Prior to becoming an artist, HBS worked as a teacher and plastic art animator for the Ministry of Culture. Despite being self-taught, he has been actively painting since 1966, and first began exhibiting his works publicly in 1976.
 
HBS is renowned for his use of recycled materials in his art, including rusty cans which he displayed as part of a collective exhibition in 1980. He has since traveled extensively throughout the world, participating in exhibitions across Europe, Asia, and North America.
